Immediately she established the organization as a nationally recognized nonprofit that provided life-saving financial assistance to hundreds of families while raising more than $1 million in philanthropic support, sustaining its mission for 19 years. Along the way, she designed operational systems, built strategic partnerships, led fundraising efforts, and demonstrated firsthand that sustainable impact depends on disciplined leadership as much as compassion.
More recently, Carol led TechFluent, a nonprofit workforce development initiative focused on preparing under-resourced learners for careers in technology. By combining technical training, career coaching, employer engagement, and operational innovation, she helped modernize workforce development programs while navigating one of the most rapidly changing technology landscapes in history.
